Sam Adonis Details AAA’s Plans From 2024 To Make Him & QT Marshall The New Los Gringos Locos
AAA had plans for Adonis and Marshall to bring back the Gringos Locos name.
At the November 22nd AAA event, El Grande Americano and AAA Mega Champion Dominik Mysterio billed themselves as the new Los Gringos Locos. Mysterio also sported gear that was similarly designed to what the original Los Gringos Locos (Eddie Guerrero & Art Barr) wore in November 1994 at AAA ‘When Worlds Collide.’
Coming out of that event, it was mentioned by an X user that AAA wrestler Sam Adonis should be a part of the new Los Gringos Locos.
Adonis responded and noted that AAA had plans to reboot the group with him and AEW’s Q.T. Marshall at the helm. Adonis and Marshall worked together when Marshall made his way over to AAA before WWE acquired the promotion.
Actually, myself and QT Marshall were slated to be the new Gringos Locos in 2024.
AAA had a logo made for merch & we did pretapes for TV, but certain βfactorsβ forced the idea to be scrapped. π€
