Sami Callihan is staying with IMPACT Wrestling for the next couple of years.
IMPACT Wrestling announced that Sami Callihan has signed a multi-year deal with the company. Wrestling Inc first reported the news, which was confirmed to Fightful by IMPACT officials. Full terms of the contract were not disclosed. It was reported in October by PWInsider that Callihan had signed a new deal with IMPACT Wrestling, though terms were not reported.
Callihan made his debut in IMPACT at Bound for Glory 2017, interfering in the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship bout between LAX and oVe. Callihan would go on to become the leader oVe. 2018 was a banner year for Callihan in IMPACT Wrestling as he won Wrestler of the Year, Match of the Year (vs. Pentagon Jr at Slammiversary) and Moment of the Year (taking a baseball bat to Eddie Edwards' face) in the IMPACT End-Of-Year Awards.
He is scheduled to face Jimmy Havoc in a Monster's Ball Match at IMPACT United We Stand on Apr. 4.
Wrestling Inc reports that more signings are expected this week.
