Sami Zayn Crashes Gingerbread Man Funeral On 5/8 WWE SmackDown, Gets Laid Out By Lil Yachty And Trick Williams
Last week, Sami Zayn killed The Gingerbread Man. This led to Trick Williams agreeing to put his US Title on the line against Zayn at WWE Backlash.
On the 5/8 WWE SmackDown, a funeral was hosted for The Gingerbread Man. Many stars showed up to pay their respects.
Everyone seemed deeply distraught with his passing, except Sami Zayn, who couldn’t believe people were really acting like this. In the main event segment, Trick Williams showed up for the funeral. He poured some milk out for the Gingerbread Man and also performed a song for him. An AI-generated video was also aired in memory of The Gingerbread Man.
Later, Sami Zayn crashed the funeral segment. Zayn couldn’t believe precious show time was being used for something like this. He said Williams got into his head, but he’ll do it a thousand times worse to him at WWE Backlash. He then launches an attack on Williams.

Before the segment ended, the Gingerbread Man rose from the dead. It was Lil Yachty under the mask. Yachty attacked Zayn with a candy cane before Williams finished him off with the Trick Shot.
