Sami Zayn Names Unsanctioned Match With Kevin Owens As His Favorite Match That He Wrestled In 2025
Sami Zayn shows some love to Kevin Owens.
As the year came to a close, Sami Zayn spent some time on social media and named some of his favorite matches from 2025. Zayn recalled some of his TV matches with names like CM Punk, Drew McIntyre, and Randy Orton.
Then, Zayn praised his Unsanctioned Match with Kevin Owens from the Elimination Chamber event, crowning it as his favorite match that he wrestled in 2025.

The match is widely considered to be one of the best matches of 2025 and one of the best matches of both Owens and Zayn’s careers.
Owens has not wrestled since this match took place, as he announced that he needed neck surgery on April 5 episode of WWE SmackDown. Owens ended up undergoing surgery on July 18.
