Sami Zayn Not Medically Cleared For WWE SmackDown

Sami Zayn is currently sidelined.

Michael Cole announced that Zayn is “not medically cleared” for the October 24th episode of WWE SmackDown.

Zayn was attacked by the MFTs (Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, JC Mateo, & Talla Tonga) last Friday on SmackDown.

The attack came after Zayn lost the WWE US Title to Ilja Dragunov in an open challenge match. Zayn has been wrestling consistently on SmackDown, holding his US Title open challenge weekly since September.

It is unknown when Sami Zayn will return to the ring.
