Sami Zayn On Finding Out He’d Be Facing Shinsuke Nakmura In NXT: What An Interesting Time In My Life This Was

Sami Zayn and several other WWE superstars name their favorite NXT moments.

During the ‘black and gold’ era of WWE NXT, a majority of the brands run would take place from Full Sail University, where WWE would tape NXT’s weekly programming as well as several Takeover specials.

In a new social media post by WWE NXT, several WWE superstars including NXT would discuss their highlights of their time on the brand, with Sami Zayn discussing when he would find out he would be facing Shinsuke Nakamura in his final match on the brand.

“Wow, what an interesting time in my life this was. I was just thinking to myself on my way here, when was the last time I actually set foot in this building… and I’m pretty sure it was right here.”

Elsewhere in the same video, Damian Priest, Bianca Belair, Montez Ford and more would name their favorite moments from Priest naming his hot tub celebration with the NXT North American championship, Bianca naming her segment involving Charlotte Flair and Rhea Ripley, while Ford named the time he and Angelo Dawkins would win the NXT Tag Team Championships.
