Sami Zayn Recounts The Moments Leading Up To Mel B (Scary Spice) Calling Him A P*ssy

Sami Zayn was called a pussy by Scary Spice and lived to talk about it.

Recently, after the November 10 WWE Live event in Manchester, England, Mel B, better known to some as Scary Spice, was in attendance and she did not like Sami Zayn’s behavior in a triple threat match for the NXT Championship that also featured Tommaso Ciampa and Bron Breakker.

This would eventually lead to Sami Zayn being called a pussy by the popstar and tweeting about it, eventually asking for an apology.

Now, on the most recent WWE After The Bell, Sami Zayn explains the moment from his side of the barricade, saying that during that event he noticed a particularly angry fan that was so intense that it actually brought him out of his element.

"Yeah. How about that? So what happened is, I got knocked to the floor during my match. I'm used to some people, you know, especially, I'm antagonizer Sami Zayn gets the crowd riled up a little bit before the match, especially with the microphone and all that. So I'm expecting a few comments when I'm knocked on the floor ringside momentarily. But I'm hearing some particular vitriol from over here when I'm on the floor. I'm not really realizing who it is at the moment, but they're really on my ass. So I'm doing a little bit of backtalk.

"What was some of the back and forth? I'm trying to remember it, but it was sort of like, 'Get up,' or you know, 'Get up! You're a coward, or you're this or that.' I'm saying, 'Hey, man, I'm hurt. Give me a second. You don't know what it's like. I'm in pain right now.' Then that's when that one line was uttered by Scary Spice, under her breath, mind you."

Sami Zayn further stated that because she was in the front row, it felt as though she had kneeled down and whispered the vitriolic comment in his ear.

"Because she was in the front row, it was almost like she knelt down and whispered in my ear, like, 'I know and you know what you're being right now.' Yeah, I demanded an apology on social media. I still haven't received one."

Sami Zayn joked that it was a crazy week for his fifteen-year-old self as he would also wrestle Jeff Hardy in a singles match and lose his spot on team Survivor Series because of one of his idols.
