Sami Zayn vs. JD McDonagh Announced For WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff

Sami Zayn will compete at WWE Crown Jewel.

For numerous weeks, Sami Zayn has been feuding with The Judgment Day (Damian Priest, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and Rhea Ripley). At WWE Fastlane, JD McDonagh helped Priest and Balor beat Zayn and Owens to win the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship. McDonagh has kept getting involved in the feud ever since. In recent weeks, the rivalry has continued to heat up, even in the aftermath of Kevin Owens' move to SmackDown.

On the October 30 episode of WWE Raw, Sami Zayn confronted the stable. He said his name was resistance, and he would keep fighting them until they were defeated. Ripley responded by setting up a match between and Priest. Before the bout, WWE announced that Zayn would face McDonagh on the WWE Crown Jewel Kickoff.

McDonagh lost to WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins on the October 30 episode of WWE Raw. Later in the show, Zayn's match with Priest ended via disqualification when The Judgment Day and Jey Uso got involved. Cody Rhodes made the save and stood tall.
