Sammy Guevara Tried To Purchase AEW World Title From Darby Allin Prior To AEW Collision Bout

Sammy Guevara tried to skip the dangerous wrestling and purchase the AEW World Title from Darby Allin prior to AEW Collision.

On the May 17th edition of AEW Collision, Darby Allin would put the AEW World Championship on the line against Guevara, with the bout being as hard hitting and exciting as their previous bouts, including Guevara hitting a dive from a ladder to put Allin through a table. During the course of the bout, Darby would also feel the toll of his recent championship defense schedule, collapsing during the bout, but did retain his title in the end.

While speaking during his latest YouTube vlog, Sammy Guevara approached Darby Allin prior to their bout on AEW Collision, looking to buy the AEW World Title from the champion.

“Whoa, dude, calm down. We got this big match today all right but we’ve done this before. You’ve beaten me, I’ve beaten you, we’ve hurt each other. Let’s not do that. It’s 2026. How about I just pay you? Then you just (motions for title, Darby slaps his hand away) 100k! I’m offering you 100k!”

Darby would then warn Sammy that he was going to need to keep his money.

“You’re gonna need to save all your money this is literally your last match Your career is fucking ending tonight.”
