Sammy Guevara Vs. Bandido, Toni Storm vs. Marina Shafir Added To The 1/7 AEW Dynamite
Sammy Guevara will face Bandido next Wednesday.
On AEW Collision, Sammy Guevara and Bandido had a segment backstage. Sammy wasn’t happy that Bandido earned a title shot against MJF’s AEW World Championship before he could, so he challenged him to a match.
Bandido said he could’ve simply asked and accepted the challenge. Both wrestlers will tussle it out on the January 7 Dynamite in a singles non-title match.

The ROH World Champion had previously defeated Sammy’s tag team partner, and current ROH World Tag Team Champion, Beast Mortos in the New Year’s Smash edition of Dynamite on December 31, 2025.
Plus, Toni Storm will take on Marina Shafir.
Previously, a Lights Out match featuring Swerve Strickland & Hangman Page against HOOK & Powerhouse Hobbs, as well as an AEW Continental Championship Eliminator Match between Jon Moxley and Shelton Benjamin, was also announced for the show.
