Samoa Joe Announced For First Independent Match Since 2015

Samoa Joe has been announced for his first independent match since 2015.

IZW in Arizona announced that Joe will face Navajo Warrior at IZW Long Live The King on November 8.

The bout is being billed at Navajo Warrior’s retirement match.

This is Joe’s first independent match since August 2015 at PWE in Scotland, before he officially joined WWE NXT.

The 55-year-old Navajo Warrior has been wrestling since the early 90s and appeared on WWF TV as Shawn Dakota.

Samoa Joe competed on Sunday at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door, teaming with Powerhouse Hobbs and Katsuyori Shibata to defend their Trios Titles against Bullet Club War Dogs members Clark Connors, Drilla Moloney, and Robbie X.
