Samoa Joe is truly the king of TV.

As of November 2, 2023, Samoa Joe has become the longest-reigning Ring of Honor World TV Champion. Joe surpassed the 567-day record previously held by his former protege, Jay Lethal in his 2015-2016 reign.

Joe initially captured the belt on April 13, 2022, by defeating Minoru Suzuki on a special AEW Dynamite.

Joe has defended the title seventeen times thus far. Joe has defeated Colt Cabana, Mark Briscoe, Dalton Castle, Shane Taylor, and Tony Nese among others. Most recently, Joe bested Rhett Titus on the October 28 AEW Collision.

Even though he is the ROH World TV Champion, he is currently fixated on getting the AEW World Title away from Maxwell Jacob Friedman, MJF. Still, he's willing to have Max's back for now.
