Samoa Joe Believes He's Walking Out Of Greatest Royal Rumble Event As Intercontinental Champion

Samoa Joe is convinced he will be a champion on Friday.

At the Greatest Royal Rumble, Samoa Joe will be in a four-man ladder match challenging for Seth Rollins' WWE Intercontinental Championship. In an interview with The National, Samoa Joe expressed how a ladder match differs from his normal grounded offensive in-ring style but he still plans to be champion at the end of the night.

"A ladder match is always a wildcard and you always have to put yourself in the most precarious position in the match just before you try and win by climbing to the top of the ladder so it is always a wildcard match. I am more than convinced I will be able to climb the ladder and grab the title and become the new IC champion at the Greatest Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia," said Samoa Joe.

The Greatest Royal Rumble event takes place on Friday and will be broadcasted live on the WWE Network. Fightful Wrestling will have live coverage and a recapping podcast for the event.
