Samoa Joe Cleared To Return, Will Compete On AEW Dynamite

Samoa Joe is set to return to the ring.

Ahead of Wednesday’s AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan announced that Samoa Joe has been cleared and he will compete on the April 22 episode of AEW Dynamite.

On the January 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Samoa Joe suffered a non-contact injury and was not cleared. Joe last wrestled on the January 21 episode of Dynamite, defeating Mike Bailey.

Since being off television, HOOK has taken over The Opps and been in recruiting mode. Anthony Bowens has made his case to be a member of The Opps.

Joe recently stated on March 6 that he would be back sooner than later.

Also added to AEW Dynamite is Lio Rush vs. Brody King. The night will be headlined by Darby Allin defending the AEW World Title against Tommaso Ciampa.

Fightful will have coverage of Dynamite beginning at 8 p.m. ET followed by a post-show podcast.
