IMPACT celebrated its 20-year anniversary on Sunday with IMPACT Slammiversary with the show featuring surprise appearances and video messages.
AJ Styles, Sting, and Kurt Angle all sent in video messages thanking the IMPACT fans while reflecting on their time in the company.
There was no video message from Samoa Joe, who was one of the most impactful wrestlers in company history, from his multiple title victories to his legendary matches and feuds. Taking to social media, Joe explained why fans didn't see a message from him on the pay-per-view.
Dearest cackling hens. I wasn’t asked, or available, and it should not mar a great milestone set by Impact. Happy Anniversary, and my best going forward to all involved .

Joe is currently signed to AEW and is the reigning ROH Television Champion.
