Joe was injured backstage, so MJF went at it alone, ultimately losing the titles to the masked men.

Joe eventually made his way to the ring to run off the masked men from doing further damage to MJF. The Devil put a message on screen saying "Pleasure doing business with you," as Joe revealed he faked his injury, leading him to attack MJF with a chair.

Backstage after attacking MJF, Joe issued a final warning to MJF, saying MJF can catch the fade anywhere, that he's playing chess and not checkers, and that MJF has been too worried about a Devil and not worried enough about destiny.
