Samoa Joe Says He’s Overjoyed That Nick Aldis Got To Wrestle At WWE SummerSlam
Samoa Joe is delighted for Nick Aldis.
After a three year absence, Aldis returned to the ring during the first night of the SummerSlam event. He faced Gunther in singles match that was widely liked by the world of wrestling.
Speaking with Joel Pearl of Fightful Overbooked for a new interview, Joe talked Aldis and his return to the squared circle.
“Yes. I’m overjoyed that he got the opportunity because he’s a tremendous athlete and a tremendous wrestler. It was good to see him get that spotlight, hopefully we’ll get to see a little bit more.”
Joe teamed with Nick Aldis from 2011-2013. Together, they held both the TNA World Tag Team Championships and the GHC Tag Team Championships.
