Samoa Joe Says He’ll Be Back At AEW ‘Sooner Than Later’
Samoa Joe gives an update on his potential return.
On the January 28 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was announced that Samoa Joe suffered a non-contact injury and was not cleared. Joe last wrestled on the January 21 episode of Dynamite, defeating Mike Bailey.
Appearing at a Monopoly Events convention, Joe gave an update on when he may return to AEW.
“We’ll be back at AEW sooner than later,” he said.
It is unknown when Joe will return to TV. During his absence, HOOK has taken over as the leader of The Opps and been in recruiting mode.
Fightful Select reported that Joe was placed in concussion protocol.
