Samoa Joe Suffered Non-Contact Injury In Training, Not Cleared
Samoa Joe is not cleared to compete.
On AEW Dynamite, Excalibur informed fans that Samoa Joe suffered a non-contact injury during training and is not cleared.
A further update on Joe was not given. It is unknown when he will return to the ring.
Joe has been part of the AEW World Title picture, targeting MJF, who won the AEW World Title at Worlds End in a four-way match that also featured Swerve Strickland and Hangman Page. Joe entered Worlds End as the champion.
Joe last wrestled on the January 12th episode of AEW Dynamite, defeating “Speedball” Mike Bailey.
