While the man that Swerve will be facing has not been determined, it is known that he has his sights set on Samoa Joe and the AEW World Championship. As a result, Joe will be doing commentary for Strickland's match.

Strickland has decided that Hangman will face Toa Liona on January 31 as part of an agreed-upon Dealer's Choice series of matches.
