Samoa Joe Wins US Title In Fatal-Four Way Bout On WWE SmackDown

Samoa Joe finally tastes WWE gold.

On tonight's episode of WWE SmackDown Live, R-Truth once again issued a United States Open Challenge to honor his hero John Cena. This week, Samoa Joe answered the call. But much like last week, he wasn't the only one. Right behind Joe were Rey Mysterio and Andrade, the two men who unsuccessfully tried to capture the US Title last week in a triple threat match.

Despite two more participants being added to what he thought would be a singles match, Samoa Joe was undeterred. Joe hit the Uranage on Andrade to score the win and capture his first title in the WWE.

After the bout, Joe cut an impassioned promo, declaring that anyone coming after his crown would find nothing but disrespect.
