Samoa Joe: Wrestling Brock Lesnar Is Like Being In A Real Fight

When it comes to wrestling Brock Lesnar, you have to know what you're getting into.

Speaking to CBS Sports, Samoa Joe makes it clear that when wrestling Lesnar, you have to be ready for everything and anything. He won't let up, so you have to take it to him.

Cameron Grimes: I Was Told By A High Executive That I Would Always Have A Job In WWE, I Was Released Five Days Later

"I think when you are dealing with Brock Lesnar, you have to show up ready to deal with Brock Lesnar," Joe said. "Brock is the type of guy who is not going to give you an inch. If you are going to get anything from him, you have to take it and he's going to dare you to take it."

Lesnar battles with emotion, never relenting and knowing when to attack weak spots. For Joe, he compares it to being in a real fight.

"Brock is a guy who kind of feeds off of emotion, and if you come out and you're flat and you're not putting out what he is putting out, he's going to eat you alive," he said. "That has never been an issue with me. And Brock knew that and Brock understands that now. If we are going to be in the ring together, Brock knows we are coming for a fight. I mean that literally and figuratively. There is no pulling anything with Brock. If you show signs of weakness, he's an apex predator and he's going to pounce on it and he's going to attack and overwhelm."

Samoa Joe wrestled Brock Lesnar at Great Balls of Fire Last year, coming up short. Joe is currently out with a foot injury he suffered on Raw recently.
