Santino Marella: I'd Love To See JTG And PJ Black Join IMPACT Wrestling

Santino Marella wants to see a few familiar faces join IMPACT Wrestling.

In WWE, Marella had a memorable run as a comedic character, and he also enjoyed plenty of success in the ring. Throughout his time with the company, he held the WWE Intercontinental Championship and the United States Championship. He also won the WWE Tag Team Championship with Vladimir Kozlov. Marella was revealed as IMPACT's new Director of Authority at the IMPACT Hard To Kill pay-per-view on January 13. He then officially signed with the company.

Speaking with PWMania.com, Marella was asked to name who he wants to see join IMPACT Wrestling. He pointed to JTG and PJ Black, as he spoke highly of both former WWE stars. Marella also stated that he'd like to work with Kratos, and he believes Timothy Thatcher would be great in IMPACT. He stated that there are many people he'd like to work with in IMPACT.

"I’d love to see JTG in IMPACT, I think he has a lot of fantastic years ahead of him. PJ Black (Justin Gabriel) he is another one I would love to see join us as what he can do is incredible. Tim Thatcher has everything, I think he would be great here. Kratos in NWA, I’d love to see him and work with him. There’s a lot of people out there I’d love to see come in," Marella said.

As for the talent that is already part of the roster, Marella made it clear that he enjoys working with IMPACT World Champion Josh Alexander. He also named Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, and Sami Callihan. Marella noted that the locker room is full of both old and new faces, and he's glad to be working with the talented group.

"I’m a huge fan of Josh Alexander, he’s great. Trey Miguel, I’m a big fan of his. Rich Swann, Eddie Edwards, Sami Callihan. The locker room is packed, man, with familiar and new faces so, I’m excited to see a lot of them. I watch all the matches and I’m glad to be part of them," he said.
