Santino Marella officially signs with IMPACT Wrestling.
IMPACT Wrestling announced on Instagram that Santino Marella has signed with the promotion. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Marella joined IMPACT Wrestling at IMPACT Hard To Kill when he was announced as the new Director of Authority. Marella is the temporary replacement for Scott D'Amore, who was taken out by Bully Ray on the January 5 episode of IMPACT.
Marella's first order of business as Director of Authority was to restart the IMPACT Digital Media Championship bout between Joe Hendry and Moose after Moose won by illegal means.
Santino made various appearances for IMPACT in 2017 and 2018. He also did commentary for the promotion at IMPACT Sacrifice 2022.
