Santos Escobar Believed To Have Departed WWE

Santos Escobar is gone from WWE.

WWE talent exits are ongoing, and one of the names believed to be gone from the company is Santos Escobar.

In 2026, Escobar underwent two surgeries. He had his tricep surgically repaired, and in April, he announced that he would be undergoing surgery on his ulnar nerve. The second surgery derives from what he described as a ‘hiccup’ during the first surgery.

Escobar had been featured in the Lucha Libre AAA branch of WWE. He last wrestled in March in the Rey de Reyes tournament final, during which he suffered the pec injury.

Escobar, formerly known as El Hijo del Fantasma, joined WWE in 2019. The former Legado Del Fantasma leader held the NXT Cruiserweight Championship during his WWE run.
