Santos Escobar Earns WWE US Title Shot On 8/9 WWE SmackDown
Santos Escobar earns a US Title bout.
Santos Escobar earned a shot at LA Knight and the WWE United States Championship by defeating Andrade on the August 9th episode of WWE SmackDown.
Escobar won thanks to some help from Carmelo Hayes, who caused moved Escobar out of the way from running knees in the corner, allowing Escobar to score a rollup victory.

Before Escobar battled Andrade, he interrupted Knight’s US Title celebration, saying that he it was game and everyone would be saying ES CO BAR, SI.
