Santos Escobar: Legado Del Fantasma Is My True Family

Santos Escobar says his place was not with the LWO.

Santos Escobar previously turned on the LWO, and he has found new stablemates in Angel and Humberto. The trio, collectively known as Legado Del Fantasma, beat Carlito, Cruz Del Toro, and Joaquin Wilde on the January 19 episode of WWE SmackDown.

In a SmackDown Exclusive, Santos Escobar, Angel, and Humberto commented on their win. Escobar showed that he had crossed out the LWO logo, and he explained that they were not his true family. Instead, he found a new one.

“This is just one example, what happened tonight, I mean. Which was, by the way, satisfaction. Satisfaction. That’s how it felt. That’s one example why the LWO doesn’t work without Santos Escobar. Which is why, after that familia betrayed me, I realized my place wasn’t with them. Luckily, because the one thing Santos always has is luck, I found true familia in Humberto and Angel," Escobar said.

Angel then stated that, unlike the LWO, Legado Del Fantasma was one, and they were together. Humberto also claimed that they erased the LWO.

Escobar is set to face Carlito on the January 26 episode of WWE SmackDown. More information is available here.
