Santos Escobar returns to NXT.
In an effort to get even with Gallus, Tony D'Angelo and Channing "Stacks" Lorenzo called in a favor and brought Santos Escobar back to NXT to be their third man in a tag team match against Gallus' Mark Coffey, Joe Coffey, and Wolfgang.
Escobar was able to aid the team in their victory over Gallus.

Escobar had previously been a reluctant member of the D'Angelo Family during his time in NXT when the then Legado Del Fantasma was absorbed into The Family during a rivalry between the two factions. In fact, it was a loss to Tony that sent Santos to the main roster.
Now, Santos is on his way to competing against Austin Theory for the WWE United States Championship on the August 11 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
