Saquon Shugars Challenging Chad Gable For WWE Intercontinental Title At NXT House Show

Saquon Shugars is getting a shot at Gable’s gold.

It had been advertised that IYO SKY and WWE Intercontinental Champion Chad Gable would be working the NXT house shows on September 25th in Columbia, South Carolina, and September 26th in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Gable’s match for night one has been revealed, as Saquon Shugars took to X to share that he’ll be challenging Gable for the Intercontinental Championship.

Shugars wrote:

Gable has been reigning as champion since SummerSlam in August. He’s had two defenses thus far: One against Rey Mysterio and the latest against Dragon Lee which were both successful.
