Saraya: I Wasn't Allowed To Acknowledge My Family Until 'Fighting With My Family' Came Out

Saraya had a night to remember at AEW All In as she walked into the stadium with her family and walked out, still with her family, with the AEW Women's Champion.

Saraya comes from wrestling fame in England as her parents (Sweet Saraya & Ricky Knight) were both wrestlers and her brother (Zak Zodiac) and nephew (Ricky Knight Jr) are well known in the European wrestling scene.

Speaking at the AEW All In media scrum, Saraya discussed the emotional moment of having her family with her at AEW All In.

"They were never given the opportunity in the past to be showcased. They were never acknowledged, and I wasn't allowed to acknowledge them until the movie came out, and then I was allowed to. Tony didn't even question it. He was like, 'let's fucking go, yeah. We can have your family.' They appreciated it so much. My dad was so emotional. My dad is not a crier, he's very rough around the edges kind of guy. Missing teeth because of all the fighting back in the day. He was crying his eyes out in the ring. It was such a special moment to be around my family. They loved every single second of it," she said.

Saraya closed by putting over Ricky Knight Jr, who wrestled Zack Sabre Jr. at the RevPro 11th Anniversary show on August 26.

Elsewhere during the scrum, Saraya revealed she's writing a book. You can find her full comments by clicking here.
