Saraya Misses Working With Cody Rhodes; Reflects On Cody Coining The Term 'Glampire'

Saraya reflects on her relationship with Cody Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes and Saraya haven’t worked together in several years. Even though the former Paige is currently in AEW, she arrived in All Elite Wrestling after Cody Rhodes left the company he founded to return to WWE.

The Elite: We're Getting AEW Back To What It Was Supposed To Be

Speaking to Josh Martinez on the Superstar Crossover podcast, Saraya got to reflect on how much she misses Cody and how “The American Nightmare” coined the phrase “Glampire,” which Saraya would go on to use as a fun way to describe herself.

"I haven't seen Cody in years because when I came to AEW, he wasn't there anymore. I love Cody. I love Brandi. I love the whole family, but yeah, Cody was such a sweetheart," she said. "He actually is the one that came up with the term 'Glampire' that I use all the time. We were at we were doing Tribute to the Troops and he was dressed like Stardust or whatever. But anyway, there was this girl that was kind of looking at me like shit, but she kind of looked like me, right? She was like Gothic or whatever. He was like, Yeah, she kind of looks like you, but you're like a more glamorous version. Kind of like a Glampire or something. I'm like, 'I love that. I love that so much.' I don't think he would even remember that, but you know, I took it, stole it, loved it. He's an angel. Hopefully, I get to see him again soon. He's awesome."

Much like Cody Rhodes, Saraya has been given a second chance to finish her story on her terms. Also, like Cody, the former WWE Divas Champion is interested in helping the next generation find their best path forward in wrestling.

Specifically, Saraya believes that new AEW signee, Skye Blue, could be the next big thing in wrestling. Fans can read her comments on Skye at this link.

Additionally, Saraya spoke in this interview about being fined after using the word "Twat" on television. Read more at this link.
