Saraya says Tony Khan left the door open for her to return to All Elite Wrestling in the future.
Earlier this year, Saraya announced she would be exiting AEW, citing that she had nothing left to do in the promotion. Since her exit, Saraya has addressed a possible WWE return, and now says an AEW return is still possible in the future.
While speaking to Women's Wrestling Talk in a new interview, Saraya spoke about her AEW exit, stating that Tony Khan left the door open for a future return with the company.
"I was like, alright, time for me to bow out. Tony was amazing with it. It ended up being mutual, which is great. He was like, let's do it. Like- that's perfectly fine. He was extremely supportive about my my future endeavors and he encouraged me and the door was left open, you know, which is great, and yeah, it was just a lot of brainstorming on my time off where I was like, okay, now it's time for me to bow out gracefully, I guess."
Elsewhere in another recent interview, Saraya spoke about possibly facing off with Mercedes Mone in AEW. You can read more about that here.
