Saraya Victorious In Return To Competition At AEW Full Gear 2022

Saraya returns victorious.

Saraya returned to in-ring competition at AEW Full Gear and picked up a victory over former AEW Women's Champion Britt Baker in a one-on-one contest.

The finish saw Saraya put Baker away with not one, but two craddle DDTs (formerly known as the RamPaige). During the bout, Baker targeted the neck of Saraya, but the former Paige was able to survive the onslaught and kick out of Britt's best shots including two curb stomps.

On the November 9 episode of AEW Dynamite, Saraya announced she was cleared to return to in-ring competition. Saraya hadn't wrestled since December 27, 2017 after she suffered a neck injury at a WWE live event during a six-woman tag team match that forced her to retire from in-ring competition. Before her December 2017 injury, she had missed a year and a half of action (June 2016 - December 2017) with a neck injury.

AEW Full Gear marked her first singles match since the December 4, 2017 episode of WWE Raw when she faced Sasha Banks.
