Joshi wrestler Sareee appears to be finally heading to America and WWE when she wraps up her commitments in Japan.
On February 22, 2020, Sareee announced she had signed with WWE and would be moving to the United States in March to begin her training at the Performance Center.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-1 9pandemic, travel bans were issued and as a result, Sareee's move to America has been delayed for the last year. During this time, WWE allowed her to continue wrestling in Japan.
On Twitter, Sareee provided an update saying that following the January 22 SEAdLINNG event, she will be heading to America and WWE.
Back in March of 2020, Sareee provided an update regarding her status but WWE and the United States very early on into the pandemic.
“WWE is handling my schedule to move to the States. Their initial plan was for me to be training over there already, but look at the circumstances around the world, maybe it’s best when the vaccine is developed rather than re-debuting with worries. I want to show my solid wrestling live without any anxieties. It’s hard for everyone, but I think this is the time to be one as the WWE Universe and stay strong and firm. It's ‘safety wrestling.’ From Japan, I will put my full effort to do what I can.”
WWE continues to move forward amid the pandemic as they recently announced the next three locations for Wrestlemania including this year's event once again spanning across two nights. Learn more about that at this link.
