Sareee Not Cleared To Compete On 6/10 AEW Dynamite, Maya World Takes Her Place

Sareee is unable to compete on AEW Dynamite Summer Blockbuster.

Ahead of the show on Wednesday, Tony Khan announced that Sareee was not cleared by AEW doctors, and that she won’t compete against Skye Blue in the Owen Hart Foundation Women’s Tournament. She previously noted that her neck was not at full strength, but was hoping to still compete.

She said that Takumi Iroha would be in her corner and take her place if she was not cleared, but that is not the case.

Tony announced that Maya World will take Sareee’s place in the tournament. Maya was offered time off to be with her family after the death of her brother, but she wanted to wrestle.
