At the 2018 Royal Rumble, WWE made history with the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble. And Sasha Banks made history when she was the first-ever entrant into the Women's Royal Rumble. Banks lasted nearly an hour in the match, making it to the final four before being eliminated by The Bella Twins.

Speaking to the We Have Cool Friends podcast, Banks discussed the first-ever Women's Royal Rumble.

"Being part of the Royal Rumble was one of my top five moments of my career," stated Banks. "Knowing just how much faith they had in me to be in there that long for the first-ever one. Just really trying to lead the girls. When I wasn't in the ring, I was on the floor, making sure everyone was okay and ready for the next step. I felt really accomplished that they put that trust and faith in me. Working with girls that haven't been in the ring for ten years and newer girls in NXT. I just felt really good, like I could be part of this place forever whether it's a producer or trainer, I felt like, 'They really appreciate my work.' I can't believe I got to be in the ring with Trish and eliminate her. We had a really good chemistry."

Banks did not participate in the 2019 Royal Rumble as she challenged Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Title at the event. Banks will once again challenge for the Raw Women's Championship this Sunday, Oct. 6 at WWE Hell in a Cell when she takes on Becky Lynch inside Hell in a Cell.
