Sasha Banks discusses her Royal Rumble match with Ronda Rousey and more.
One-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks jumped on a quick phone call with Vicente Beltrán earlier this week to answer a few questions. Banks was first asked whether or not her match with Ronda Rousey was a dream match for her. Banks offered a short and sweet response.
"No. It was a dream match for her though. She said it."
Rousey was very complimentary towards Banks in the build-up to their match, even calling her "an encyclopedia of wrestling." Rousey would defeat Banks at the Royal Rumble.
Banks was then asked about the Women's Tag Team Titles and if she was disappointed that she wouldn't be facing Trish Stratus & Lita at WrestleMania 35.
"It's not a disappointment to me. Right now, I'm very happy with who I'm going to face at WrestleMania. I hope that one day I get the opportunity to wrestle Trish and Lita for the Tag Team Titles."
Stratus & Lita came out of retirement for WWE Evolution this past October, but haven't wrestled since the night after Evolution.
Banks & Bayley are set to defend their Women's Tag Team Titles against Beth Phoenix & Natalya, Tamina & Nia Jax, and The IIconics in a fatal four-way at WrestleMania 35.
