Sasha Banks On Taking A Break From WWE: People Need To Step Back And Re-Evaluate Their Lives

Sasha Banks needed to get her mind right.

Following WrestleMania 35, Sasha Banks disappeared from WWE television with reports circulating that she tried to leave the company over WrestleMania weekend. Banks was reportedly unhappy about losing the Women's Tag Team Titles at WrestleMania 35, believing she and Bayley would be getting a long run to establish the belts. After four months away, she returned to WWE television, attacking Natalya the night after SummerSlam.

Appearing on WFNZ Sports Radio, Banks was asked what she was doing in the four months she was away.

"I've been doing this for seven years straight, no breaks," she explained. "People need to step back and re-evaluate their lives, take care of their souls, their minds. I'm back, I'm better than ever, and I got myself a championship match on Sunday so, I think I did quite well for myself, right? Everybody's talking about Sasha Banks and that's what I was born to do. I'm a star, I'm a main eventer, I'm a headliner. I'm making money and I'm making moves. Period."

Banks was immediately put back in the spotlight upon her return, getting a Raw Women's Championship match against Becky Lynch at WWE Clash of Champions.
