Sasha Banks vs. Nikki Cross Announced For 11/8 WWE SmackDown

The Boss is back and ready to go.

WWE announced that Sasha Banks will have her first match in weeks when she takes on Nikki Cross on the November 8 edition of Friday Night SmackDown, taking place in Manchester, England. Banks has not competed on WWE television since her loss to Becky Lynch for the Raw Women's Championship at Hell In A Cell back in October.

From WWE:

Get back to work. The Boss is back and set for battle against Nikki Cross on Friday Night SmackDown.

Sasha Banks last competed in a Hell in a Cell showdown against Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch. Since that devastating defeat, The Boss has rallied behind her close friend Bayley by lending a hand to the SmackDown Women’s Champion in her victory over challenger Nikki Cross.

Now Cross seeks payback for The Boss’ involvement and the role she played in costing the former Women’s Tag Team Champion a chance to win the title.

Will The Boss make a splash in her return to the ring, or will Cross make Banks long for a return to the sidelines?

Already confirmed for SmackDown is the return of former unified heavyweight boxing champion Tyson Fury after his successful WWE in-ring debut against Braun Strowman at the Crown Jewel show on October 31.

Fightful will have coverage of SmackDown with a post-show podcast to follow.
