Sasha Banks: WWE Has Too Many Pay-Per-View Events

Sasha Banks believes there isn't enough time to build everything in WWE.

Appearing on Edge & Christian's Pod of Awesomeness, Banks was asked about her upcoming match at WWE Royal Rumble against Ronda Rousey. First, Banks revealed when she found out about the Raw Women's Title bout.

"It was really unexpected," revealed Banks. "It was out of the blue. I found out the day before Raw and I was like, 'Wait, huh?' Of course that's how WWE works, you never know what you're going to be doing. They tell you one thing and the next thing you know, something is different."

Later in the podcast, Banks discussed the lack of build in her match against Rousey. The bout was made official on the Jan. 7 episode of Raw, giving Banks and Rousey just two weeks to build to their Jan. 27 showdown.

"I do wish there was more time to build," commented Banks. "We have way too many pay-per-views. Once Royal Rumble is done, we have three weeks until Elimination Chamber and then three weeks until Fastlane and then four weeks until WrestleMania. There's never enough time to where you can sit and digest these stories."

On the same podcast, Banks revealed her frustrations with how 2018 went. You can view her comments here.
