Satnam Singh Says He Doesn't Have Trouble With Specific Moves, Dreams Of Holding A Title In AEW

Satnam Singh made his AEW debut on the April 13 episode of AEW Dynamite as he was introduced as the new giant backing Jay Lethal and Sonjay Dutt. In his debut segment, Singh attacked Samoa Joe as fans were left confused, not knowing exactly who Singh was.

Tony Khan admitted he could have done the debut better.

AEW announced the signing of Singh in September 2021. Singh is the first-ever player from India to be drafted in the NBA. He was drafted 52nd overall by the Dallas Mavericks in 2015.

Taking part in a Bleacher Report AMA, Singh was asked about the hardest thing to learn in wrestling.

"I don’t think anything is really hard. I’m just learning by seeing things and I don’t really have trouble with specific moves," he said.

Asked who he wants to wrestle in AEW, Singh replied, "I’m ok with anyone right now. I’m really open with all wrestlers. Maybe Big Show? That would be a great opportunity for me to go face to face with him."

"If they want to know about me, just follow my journey so they know everyone about me. I look like a gentle giant, but when I’m in the ring, don’t mess with me!" said Singh when asked what wrestling fans should know about him.

Asked if he has his eyes on a belt, Singh replied, "Not yet, but this will be my dream to have a title in my hand. I don’t know just yet, but I pray a title gets to me soon."

Singh is set to make his in-ring debut on Friday's AEW Rampage. You can view the current lineup for the show by clicking here.
