Savio Vega Had No Idea Kwang Was Going To Be Added As WWE Raw Sega 32X Secret Character

Savio Vega made it into a video game in the WWE 2K series in recent years, but many had no idea that over 25 years ago, he made his video game debut.

Vega portrayed a masked character in WWF between 1994 and 1995 named Kwang. While he was omitted from the November 1994 general release of WWF Raw on most platforms, he was included as a hidden wrestler on the Sega 32X version that dropped in 1995. Savio himself told Fightful he had no clue he would be added.

"No! Nobody told me. They probably did it all by computer, adding the character. I loved the character Kwang. I was just TNT with the mask," Vega said.

It appeared as if developers put about as much thought into the character as Vega did the game, because the gear, body type, and moves didn't resemble that of Kwang at all. Instead, he uses other finishers and didn't even have his own moves. Vega was just happy that hopefully a paycheck was coming.

"Yeah, you know that paycheck it coming soon. Well....sometimes they come!"

It was Vega's last video game appearance for over two decades.
