Scorpio Sky Talks AEW Run So Far & The Surreal Experience Of Wrestling Chris Jericho

Scorpio Sky has been at the forefront of the AEW revolution, and he doesn't take a moment of it for granted.

Speaking with Denise Salcedo, Sky discussed what it's been like for him in All Elite Wrestling thus far, and how he feels getting to wrestle legends like Chris Jericho and earn the trust of somebody like Tony Khan.

"I love watching the company develop first and foremost. Watching the fans become invested in the new characters, including myself because this is a new audience for a lot of people a lot of them know who I was but a lot of them didn't," Sky began. "So watching people discover me, discover Darby, discover Jungle Boy and become fans. It's so much fun, you know because it's something that the wrestling business has needed and you need new stars the business thrives on new stars. I'm having a lot of fun being on the road every week I've been on every single AEW show from day one from every pay-per-view, every television, I've been there. Even if I wasn't on television and that's a lot of fun and just bonding with the guys as well and the crew, not just the workers the wrestlers on the show, but the crew as well getting to know everybody and creating like a little bit of a family has just been so much fun and I look forward to years and years of it.

"It's amazing. You know it's one thing to have the trust of The Young Bucks, and Cody and guys that are my friends that I've been in the ring with and know what I can do," Sky continued. "But, also to have it from Tony [Khan] who obviously doesn't know what I'm like in the ring and may or may not have been familiar with me in recent years I think he was because he's a diehard wrestling fan but to have the trust in him that we can be the first tag team champions and that's something that's going to last forever long beyond my years in the ring. You'll be able to look back 20 years from now and say Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky were the first Tag Team Champions, and to be in the ring with Chris Jericho, someone that I been a fan of for 20 years and since I was in junior high. To be in the ring with him, you know, someone that I've looked up to and he's still at the top of his game after all of these years and I'm still you know I mean all of him I'm still a fan to be in the ring with him was amazing and something I'd never imagined that I would be in the ring with Chris Jericho if you told me that like a man you know not a month ago like a year ago I mean, I'm lost for words for it, honestly."

Scorpio and Frankie Kazarian will receive their AEW Tag Team Championship rematch against Kenny Omega and Adam Page on the February 12th edition of AEW Dynamite on TNT.
