Scott D'Amore Claims Ace Austin’s Time In TNA Wrestling Has Ended, 'He’s Ready For The Next Chapter'

Scott D'Amore claims that Ace Austin's time with TNA Wrestling has ended.

The former president of TNA Wrestling and current head of Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling announced in his D'Amore Drop column on Yahoo! Sports' Uncrowned that, although nothing has been said publicly, the former TNA Wrestling X-Division Champion is now a free agent after his TNA contract has expired. PWInsider later confirmed the news.

D'Amore states that parting ways was amicable for all parties and praised Austin for his potential.

"Nothing has been said publicly, but Ace Austin’s contract with TNA has come to term. Ace deciding to leave is amicable — he’s been there since he was barely out of his teens, and he's ready to step up. I signed him, and everything he’s shown since confirms that Ace Austin becoming a massive star is, indeed, 'inevitable.'

"He’s ready for that next chapter. I think it is time Ace Austin goes all in on proving he’s one of the best."

Austin first debuted in the promotion in March 2019. While in TNA, he captured the TNA Wrestling World Tag Team Championships with Chris Bey and held the TNA X-Division Title.
