During the pandemic, IMPACT Wrestling found a home at Skyway Studios in Nashville, Tennessee. IMPACT has taped all its events from Skyway Studios, but they had other places in mind for their weekly tapings.
Speaking to Busted Open Radio, D'Amore detailed potential taping locations before settling on Skyway Studios.
"We knew we were packing our production trucks in Texas and setting aside stuff, we weren't sure if we were going to be at Booker T's place, Highspots, Skyway, we had a place in Florida. We were looking at a place in Michigan. It was a daily thing of 'where are we going to be allowed, within the confines and regulations, to be able to operate?' Thankfully, we found a great place in Nashville, which has been our home for post-production, and they've been a great host to us. A secure facility like that gave us advantages and some peace of mind in how we were doing things. It's been an unbelievable ride," he said.
When asked when IMPACT would be back in front of fans, D'Amore joked "Slammiversary 2020."
D'Amore elaborated on the process of fans returning to IMPACT, he said, "It's been a constant process on when it'll be safe and doable. On our end, we're always going to lean towards caution. We'd rather be a day late than a day early. We continue to monitor it and look at it. It'd be great to say by the fall or by August, but we just don't know. We are making plans. I was off in some locations last week looking at new places to run shows and have re-established relationships with venues. It's an ongoing process."
It is unknown when IMPACT events will be open to fans again.
