Sean O'Malley had a one-off meeting with John Cena.
WWE came to Glendale, Arizona on September 22 for Friday Night SmackDown. John Cena was part of the show, and before the event, he stopped at a local coffee shop to use the bathroom.
Little did he know, it was the same bathroom used by UFC Bantamweight Champion Sean O'Malley.
"John Cena, I was at the coffee shop out by my house and I was going out of the bathroom, and it was one of those single bathrooms. I was opening it as he was coming in. We had the handle at the same time. I don't think he knows who I am, and I couldn't put it together right away. I went and ordered my coffee, I was sitting there, he went and walked back around. 'Why the fuck does he look so familiar?' It hit me. 'That's John Cena.' I looked it up, they had a event that night in Arizona," recalled O'Malley on The MMA Hour.
What could have been if O'Malley and Cena recognized each other.
Cena could have used O'Malley against Solo Sikoa at WWE Crown jewel when he was decimated by the Enforcer of The Bloodline.
