The Highlight Reel
- I mentioned this before, but Owens stealing the Highlight Reel name is great.
- He introduces Nakamura, who got a good reaction.
- Baron Corbin is so wooden on promos. Still. But he has a nice Cartman zinger.
- Owens says he's been beating up Sami Zayn for 15 years, and tells Corbin to leave.
- Nakamura does not need to talk to be a big star. Talking might keep him from being a big star
- Zayn comes out to make the save, and apparently Corbin and Owens are going to team together. Ok
Shinsuke Nakamura & Sami Zayn defeated Kevin Owens & Baron Corbin

- WWE hasn't done Nakamura many favors between putting him in tag matches every week, using poor production, and making him cut promos.
- We get the split screen treatment for the commercials of this match.
- If Zayn can do a Blue Thunder Bomb to Owens, it should be a finish.
- Corbin has a nice spinebuster, and even better ring presence. If he could cut a promo, he could be special.
- The ref admonishing Corbin is great. You shouldn't bury the ref, ESPECIALLY in the first match of the night.
- Owens and Corbin get into it, Nakamura pins Owens. Good stuff.
NEW. DAY'S. BACK.
- The Usos come out and cut a really good promo, and get cheap heat on the Falcons.
- New Day interrupt and make their return to a great reponse.
- Both sides go back and forth, and it's really good.
- New Day needed their break, both on screen and physically, I'd imagine.
Backstage crappenings
- I guess I don't see how Jinder Mahal's celebration is supposed to be heelish, no matter how ominous the music WWE plays with it.
- Fashion Files. It was....something. We see a Summer Rae silhouette.
Number One Contender's Match? No
- Tamina can't do a Samoan drop anymore.
- Charlotte T-Bone suplexed Natalya and hit a big moonsault. Awesome!
- Charlotte powerbombs Natayla through the announce table. This is a fantastic spotfest and it hasn't even started.
- Shane McMahon announces that we'll see a women's Money in the Bank ladder match at MITB.
- Awesome booking all around.
Breezango defeated Colons
- This was a comedy match and The Janitor is over.
- The Colons are back where they were a few months ago, and I'm cool with that.
- American Alpha haven't been on TV in over a month
Randy Orton Promo
- Randy Orton questions why Jinder Mahal deserves his respect.
- He cuts a good promo about needing to win in his hometown to solidify a legacy.
- Jinder goes straight to "every ignorant American." Womp. Womp. Womp.
Dolph Ziggler defeated AJ Styles
- These two are outstanding together.
- Dolph Ziggler counters a Super Styles Clash with a top rope DDT! That's awesome.
- Ziggler beats Styles because of course, It's Styles' hometown
