Sean Waltman Says Enzo Amore Should Have Clued WWE In On Allegations

The pro wrestling world was rocked last week when then-WWE Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore was accused of rape and subsequently fired from WWE.

On a recent episode of the X-Pac 12360 Podcast, another former WWE and WCW Cruiserweight Champion in Sean Waltman spoke out on the allegations against Enzo. Waltman noted that he thinks Amore should have let WWE in on the news when he was made aware of it.

Obviously he may or may have not done this, I am hoping it’s the may not part because you know ... But I mean who knows...It will play out, the investigation will take its course and either charges will be filed or they won’t be. He should have got on top of this instead of stuffing it under the rug. And also quit putting yourself in situations every week of your life where something like this can happen, where you’re leaving yourself open for anything to happen

Waltman himself dealt with similar claims after his late ex-girlfriend Chyna accused their released sex tape of being "the rape tape." She never pressed any charges and the claims weren't ever corroborated by anyone else. Waltman himself would later provide signatures in which Chyna authorized the release of the films.
