Another team has advanced in the tournament to crown new WWE Women's Tag Team Champions.
In a match featuring two teams of former NXT competitors, Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah defeated Shotzi and Xia Li to advance in the tournament which began this past Monday night on Raw. Thus far, the only other team to advance is the pairing of Dakota Kai and IYO SKY.
The titles were vacated when Sasha Banks and Naomi walked out on the May 16 episode of Monday Night Raw. Both women still have yet to address their departure on social media.
Raquel Rodriguez and Aliyah will now go on to face the winners of a match taking place on August 19 between Sonya Deville and Natalya and NXT Superstars Zoey Stark and Nikkita Lyons
