Seth Rollins And Braun Strowman Win WWE Raw Tag Team Titles

Entering Raw tonight, Braun Strowman was set on becoming the United States champion. Although he didn't win the title, he does get to walk out of Raw as a champion.

After a match against United States champion AJ Styles went awry during the show, Strowman teamed up with Seth Rollins to face Gallows and Anderson for the Raw Tag Team Championship in the main event. Rollins and Strowman were able to beat the OC members and become tag team champions.

Details Behind Drew McIntyre's WWE Contract Talks

Neither Rollins nor Strowman are strangers to being tag team champions in WWE but this is their first time as tag champions together. This is Strowman's second reign with the Raw tag titles and will almost assuredly have a longer reign than his last one, which ended just a day after he and Nicholas won the belts at WrestleMania 34.

Rollins isn't just a tag team champion, but is also the Universal champion, which he did so earlier this month when he defeated Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam. Though someone holding two different titles simultaneously is rare in WWE, this is not the first time he's held more than one title at the same time. Rollins once held the WWE and United States titles at the same time back in 2015.
